Pepsi Bomb

This one wasn't quite as successful as the root beer rocket but it is still quite interesting how the bottle releases the pressure.

Halloween

Halloween is an extremely strange and not thought over holiday. Halloween is supposedly the day that all evil spirits come from the dead and haunt the streets of the world, yet, we dress up like weirdies and walk around late at night asking for candy from total strangers. I think a better name for the holiday is "Rapist's second birthday....day". I think the 5-0 should be patrollin' all night watchin' fo' creeps. Personally, I am taking a knife trick-or-treating this year and I advise anyone else going to do the same.

U.S. Constitution Vs. Thomas Moore's "Utopia"

The U.S. constitution is quite different than the government used in Thomas Moore's Utopia. The U.S. constitution says that there shall be three branches of government; Legislative, the Executive, and the Judiciary. Each one has its own role in how laws are made and how the country is run. The role of the Legislature is to make the law. The legislature is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Each Representative comes from a district from one of the states. That person's job is to represent the people in that district. There are 435 Representatives. Bigger states have more Representatives and every state has at least one. The Senate has 100 Senators, two from each state. Senators are chosen by the people of the state and should represent the interests of all of the people. When the Congress wants to make a law, both the House and the Senate must agree to the exact same law. The job of the executive branch is to make sure a law is carried out. the head of the exectutive is the President, and includes the Vice President and the Secretaries of all the national departments. The last branch is the Judiciary and includes all the federal courts up to the supreme court. Another part of the constitution explains the bill of rights which includes; the right to remain silent, freedom of speech, etc.

Thomas Moore's Utopia is also a logical society because I believe that the death sentence is irrational. I also like the basic idea of no physical currency.

I would prefer to live in current U.S. because I enjoy the fact that we have constitutional rights and that we have the right to tell our representative to tell what we want to have changed and what we want to keep the same.

I believe that the U.S. constitution is more practical because in Utopia 30 families choose one representative but the representative doesn't have to listen to what the 30 families want to happen so he can vote however he wants. I also think that it is better because I do not believe in any type of slavery even if they didi do a crime.

Birthdays

Why do we have birthdays? Who needs an annual celebration signifying the aging of a person? Where does this idea originate from? I believe it is a mediocre celebration to lift ones spirit to hide the fact that their precious life is fading and that they are becoming dull and pathetic. “Let us celebrate the destroying of an enjoyable personality and the welcoming of wrinkles and grey hair”! Execrable idea, I say. I support the abolition of such a pointless festivity.

"Something The Lord Made"

What a disturbing movie! How can we watch this in school? Well I guess it's educational... But... UGHH! I am never going to be a heart surgeon. How can they stand to stare at that for so long? Then they stick their fingers inside the living babies chest!

Theater Tech

I love my Technical Theater class. I find it very enjoyable because It is 100% real-world. In theater tech we learn about all of the different jobs in the theater business, after that, we pretty much get to learn what it is like to do all those jobs through personal experience. Lately we have been experiencing the jobs while building the set pieces for the school production "Fiddler On The Roof". In my theater tech class I feel more like an employee, rather than a student.

MCPA

MCPA is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to the world, if I were to rank it, I think it would be right behind the invention of the toaster. I love the fact that at this school I fell at home, I feel I can be myself at school without being made fun of, unlike a normal school. I can't put into words how glad I am that I don't have to go to a public school.
Though some people complain about having a dress code, I believe it is a very efficient way of improving behavior of students.

What To Write?

I have no idea what to write. Brain-Cramp! What to do? I need another post! I'm not thinking of anything...well, except the fact that I can't think of something to post. I need to get a thinking chair or something. HOLY GOODNESS!! I'm making this much harder than it should be, it seems I have lost my train of, the lack of thought. Well, I'm going to the dentist today, I hate the dentist, he always wants to cut up my teeth. Now that I think about it, does anyone, like the dentist?

My Arm (karma)

My arm is itchy,
my arm is uncomfortable.
stupid hill,
I'll kill you, you know I will.
I shouldn't have teased the gimps
now my wrist is swollen like a blimp,
my cast is awkward and feels funny,
I should have been a better friend, a buddy.

Teachers

I believe teachers are the shiz-nizz. Especially my teachers, they always care about my future and try their hardest to help me to get through school with a good reputation to go on my transcript. Thank you teachers...

My Home-Dawgs

My home-dawgs are my best buddies, they know how to take a joke and know how to tell one. When I'm with them I can't be sad no matter what. They always have my back and I always have theirs. I would have a pretty boring life without them. I'd like to thank them for being my friends and being great ones at that.

My little forty thingy

I have a vision of a place where children and teenagers can hang out and be themselves... the old unused dog run in my dads backyard. It will have carpet and i will run extension cords and a surge protector into it so we may have a; T.V., stereo, heater/air conditioning unit, and other appropriate electronic devices that we might use. We'll use this fort every weekend to do homework and just chill. I will love my little forty thingy.
