U.S. Constitution Vs. Thomas Moore's "Utopia"

The U.S. constitution is quite different than the government used in Thomas Moore's Utopia. The U.S. constitution says that there shall be three branches of government; Legislative, the Executive, and the Judiciary. Each one has its own role in how laws are made and how the country is run. The role of the Legislature is to make the law. The legislature is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Each Representative comes from a district from one of the states. That person's job is to represent the people in that district. There are 435 Representatives. Bigger states have more Representatives and every state has at least one. The Senate has 100 Senators, two from each state. Senators are chosen by the people of the state and should represent the interests of all of the people. When the Congress wants to make a law, both the House and the Senate must agree to the exact same law. The job of the executive branch is to make sure a law is carried out. the head of the exectutive is the President, and includes the Vice President and the Secretaries of all the national departments. The last branch is the Judiciary and includes all the federal courts up to the supreme court. Another part of the constitution explains the bill of rights which includes; the right to remain silent, freedom of speech, etc.

Thomas Moore's Utopia is also a logical society because I believe that the death sentence is irrational. I also like the basic idea of no physical currency.

I would prefer to live in current U.S. because I enjoy the fact that we have constitutional rights and that we have the right to tell our representative to tell what we want to have changed and what we want to keep the same.

I believe that the U.S. constitution is more practical because in Utopia 30 families choose one representative but the representative doesn't have to listen to what the 30 families want to happen so he can vote however he wants. I also think that it is better because I do not believe in any type of slavery even if they didi do a crime.
